Here’s hoping you have been decluttering and now have many goods to donate.  We hope to include for sale basic household items for incoming students flatting in Palmerston North!

 

Please NO computer-related or electronic items.

Many Helpers are required for sorting and selling!

to lift large and heavy items!

Friends of St David's

People from St. David's, and members of the local community who are mostly seniors, meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at 2pm in the church lounge for an afternoon of fellowship together.  

Each month we provide a varied programme of guest speakers and entertainment.

This group is where you can make new friends, enjoy social times together

and expand learning.

Each November we celebrate the Festive Season with a Christmas Meal and a Holy Communion Service.

During the year we also hold 3 short Holy Communion services as a part of our programme.

We ask those who come along each month (if they are able) to bring a small contribution for afternoon tea, and some gold coins to support this ministry.

Everyone is welcome to attend, so if you would like to come along and join us, please feel free to make contact with the church office.

FRIENDS OF ST DAVID'S FIRST GATHERING FOR 2012

"The Cat's Out of the Bag"
 
Our 'Friends of St David's' February programme is entitled "The Cat's out of the Bag". 
Come along on Thursday February 23rd at 2pm to The Lounge to enjoy an afternoon
of friendly fellowship and a stimulating programme.

Please bring along a plate to share for afternoon tea and a gold coin to support this ministry.

We had a wonderful Christmas celebration together in December.

It will be great to be together again at the start of this new year, to catch up with
one another's news, and enjoy the monthly meetings that have been planned for the rest of 2012.
