Pastoral Care
At St David's we have a vision that
those under our pastoral care can say :
"My church cares about me and I can
count on support from St David's in my time of need/crisis".
Our
Ministers, Elders and visitors work together to make this happen. As
Pastoral Worker I am involved in visiting, caring and listening to
parishioners.
I travel alongside them on their various journeys
through good times and times of sorrow. People are
visited in their own homes, rest homes and the hospitals.
Another part of my work is the Prayer Link which offers
prayer support to people within the parish and community, covering many
different situations.
I can be contacted through the church office.
Pastoral Care is important because it shows our
people we genuinely care for them in the way of Christ.
