St. David's

Presbyterian Church, Palmerston North, New Zealand

The children in St. David's are very precious to us and we want to provide them with a fun space where they can learn about God's love and Jesus.

Godsown is our Sunday morning programme;

The children start in church with worship designed to have them participating as a family. They then move to The Lighthouse for time in small groups..............

	Bubbles - for 2 to 4 year olds: we read them a Bible story and then they enjoy play activity, colouring in etc.
	Splash - for 5 to 7 year olds: we use material from Scripture Union for a fun way to learn about God and Christian values.
	Extreme - for 8 to 12 year olds: we use other material from Scripture Union more suitable for the older age group.

We have large group time where the children love to tell us about their weeks, they are encouraged to offer prayers for each other and people in their lives. We celebrate significant events in their lives such as birthdays, starting school and 5 week wonders etc.

These programmes run during the school terms with the exception of long weekends when we have an alternative fun activity all together.
